Research & Development
Engineering the research workflow.
Our development programs address three connected laboratory needs: understanding sample conditions in transit, maintaining stable storage environments, and collecting repeatable observations over time.
01
Sample transport monitoring
Project Relay
A monitoring platform for donated tissue and research-sample transport. Relay combines environmental sensors with shipment records to help laboratory teams identify temperature excursions and review handling conditions before accepting a sample.
- Development focus
- Sensor integration; transport-condition logging
- Current phase
- Prototype evaluation
02
Controlled sample preservation
Project Stillwater
A controlled-storage platform designed to maintain stable conditions for research samples during extended storage and power interruptions. Stillwater brings environmental regulation, backup-power management, and maintenance records into a single laboratory workflow.
- Development focus
- Environmental control; storage continuity
- Current phase
- System integration
03
Longitudinal cellular imaging
Project Continuum
An automated microscopy workflow for tracking cellular changes across extended experiments. Continuum links scheduled image acquisition with sample identifiers and instrument settings, helping researchers compare observations and repeat experimental conditions.
- Development focus
- Automated microscopy; image traceability
- Current phase
- Workflow validation
